I'm going to stick with what we tried last time out, as that seemed to go okay and I didn't get any particularly enraged feedback about it. That is:
1) We'll start off with a little
Registration/Nomination Form
which will be used to indicate 1) the fact that you'd like to receive an anonymous ballot link come voting time; 2) your own willingness/notsowillingthanksanywayness to take on an admin role for July-December, and optionally 3) any names of folks you'd like to see on the ballot.
2) Then in a week or so I'll sort the ballot out and set up another one of those anonymous ranked-choice vote deals from that weird government looking website from last time, with some tweaks to hopefully alleviate some of the confusions from last time around;
3) At the end, the top 3 vote-getters will become the admin team for July-December. I'll announce the winners and make the more detailed results available to the nominees if they wish (just to reiterate, this won't include any info about who voted for whom, just the final tallies).
That renders the ol election email at lotrplazaelection [at] gmail [dot] com a bit redundant this time around, but I will still be checking it in case anyone has any questions or concerns they would like to raise privately.
