Who am I?
It does not state that I am male.
Yes, my name is in The Silmarillion.
I am not an animal.
It does not state whether I am immortal.
I am not in The Hobbit.
I am not in The Lord of the Rings.
Hahaha, there is no mention of me in the Ainulindë.
There is no mention of me in the Akallabeth.
It does not state that my name is female.
Nope, the name does not start with a vowel.
Yes, one could derive from the name itself whether it is male or female. (Good question, Aiks!

)
I am not a plant.
I do have a physical form.
I am not Thuringwethil.
It does not state that I serve an evil power, but I would say that I do not.
I can move on my own.
It does not state that I am an elf.
It does not state that I live my life alone.
I am not involved in the story of Beren and Lúthien.
I am not named more than three times.
I do speak.
I am not a dwarf.
According to the list in The Silmarillion, I am not an Ainur.
I do sing.

I am involved with the stories involving Hurin and his children.
I am not Gurthang.
Is it not stated whether I am one of the Haladin?
I am human.

Wait, are you Glirhuin?

It is told that a seer and harp-player of Brethil named Glirhuin made a song,
saying that the Stone of the Hapless should not be defiled by Morgoth nor ever
thrown down, not though the sea should drown all the land; as after indeed befell,
and still Tol Morwen stands alone in the water beyond the new coasts that were
made in the days of the wrath of the Valar. But Húrin does not lie there, for his
doom drove him on, and the Shadow still followed him. The Silmarillion, Of The Ruin Of Doriath
Yes, it is indeed Glirhuin.

A tricky question because many fandoms (and perhaps some authors) name him a male. But in the text, neither gender nor race is specified.

Yeah, that was the big thing that was beginning to stump me, but the fact that Glirhuin showed up after Turin's death narrowed it down enough.
Let's go with... What am I?
