Just dashing off a bit of a quick one here before bedtime, but didn't want to leave you all hanging any more than necessary -- but the headline is: votes have been tallied and confirmations of who is/isn't feeling up for it this time around are complete, and we now have our admin team for July-December! Congrats to:

And many thanks as always to all our nominees who were willing to participate and help guide the site if called upon. And thanks of course to all of you who voted, and who bore with me through a slightly protracted process this time around. Much appreciated, and please join me in welcoming our new (ok and some not so new ) team!

Congrats to the winners! It was a pleasure getting to serve as an interim admin during the first half of the year but I’m excited for @Pele Alarion to take over. @Silky Gooseness and @Winddancer you were both phenomenal to work with and a pair of excellent admins. Of course thanks @Narv for hosting the election and the site.

Thank you to everyone who voted for Hallowgoose 2022, and to every candidate who threw their name in the hat. Alas, now I actually have to deliver, I guess.

Also - a huge warm welcome to @Pele Alarion who has already ably served as an admin before and I know will be superb again, a fond and regretful farewell to @Romeran who has been a real pillar during these few months but whom I hope will enjoy retirement. And to @Winddancer - here we go again! Glad to have you at my back, thank you for continuing to put up with me!

Well I felt sure that I had already posted here, but apparently I imagined that. My apologies for the oversight/delay.

I am very glad that the Plaza continues to boast a strong group of Admins to keep the site going and allow us all to enjoy the place just as little or as much as we like. Thank you @Narv for all the work that went into organising another election, to anyone who was nominated and brave enough to consider the responsibility involved, and to @Romeran for stepping up and living up to all expectations so recently.

Congratulations though most of all to the tried and tested @Silky Gooseness and @Winddancer, and especially to the lovely @Pele Alarion, who is so fair minded and experienced that I have no doubt she will be a brilliant addition to the group.

@Pele Alarion, I am tremendously overjoyed to see you becoming an admin!! You have so many qualities I really value in the role. Thank you for being willing to take it on.

@Silky Gooseness and @Winddancer you are both wonderful people and I'm very glad to see you staying on! You have shown patience, willingness to listen, and such enthusiasm. We're lucky ti have you!

@Romeran thanks again for stepping in and doing a great job. You have been level headed and respectful, and I think you have done a commendable job! Enjoy your well-earned rest!
